Instructor Course for New Instructors
As an accredited provider of the TfNSW Motorcycle Licence and Testing Scheme (MLTTS), we are pleased to offer the training and qualifications required to become a qualified Instructor in NSW. Consisting of both face-to-face and online learning, you will gain the skills and experience required to successfully deliver the TfNSW MLTTS. The practical Instructor Course is completed over 4 days, and is the second step in obtaining your Instructors Licence in NSW.

Description
The practical component of the Instructor Training Course is completed over 4 days at a Stay Upright Rider Training CEntre.
On successful completion of the practical training course, you will be issued with a certificate, which is then provided to Service NSW with your Instructor Application form and supporting evidence, in order to receive your Instructor Licence.
The final step to becoming an accredited Instructor is to successfully complete a series of shadowing shifts.
Prerequisites
Completion of the Online Instructor Training course, along with meeting the eligibility criteria to obtain a NSW Motorcycle Instructors licence which requires that:
- You are aged 21 years or older;
- Hold a current full (unrestricted) Australian rider licence (Class R);
- Have held the unrestricted licence for a minimum of 3 of the last 4 years;
- Hold or are able to gain a NSW Working with Children Check;

- Receive a satisfactory National Police Check;
- Have a safe riding record (parking offences excluded);
- Be medically fit to ride.
