To gain your motorcycle licence in NSW, you need to meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or a temporary overseas visitor — with a NSW residential address
- Be at least 16 years and 6 months of age
- Have a current NSW driver’s licence or a Service NSW customer number
- Have no outstanding fines with the State Debt Recovery Office
- Have no restrictions for improper conduct
- Are medically fit and can pass an eyesight test.
