The Pre-Learner Motorcycle Course is designed to prepare riders for riding on the road. It is not designed to teach you how to ride. You’ve got this. The final mandatory step in Tasmania's motorcycle graduated licensing system (M-GLS). The one-and-a-half-hour assessment brings together your previous training and real-world riding experience, to test your skills. It includes an on-range riding skill assessment and an on-road safe riding assessment.

This session includes 1 hour of private practice with your Instructor, then the MLA. Note: You must book your MLA at least 1 month AFTER your Check Ride, otherwise your licence will be rejected by VicRoads.

For those needing a bike to take the MOST only, not the full course. This includes overseas licence conversions and aged test participants. Bikes can be booked online, right up until the commencement of the course, subject to availability.
